Call It What You Will is an Internet-based music magazine for music fans and creators everywhere. This magazine was founded in 2016 with the mission of being an inclusive and modern magazine. To achieve that goal, the magazine fully embraces the digital format and remains independent. These two choices allow Call It What You Will to be driven entirely by passion for music and true devotion to music journalism. Because the magazine is Internet-based, it bypasses barriers and allows a diverse range of music fans to connect. This is a space for people to unite through music.

About the Author 

Hi, my name is Abby Huang. I've always loved music, but I wasn’t truly immersed in it until I began collecting vinyl albums and attending concerts. This was my introduction into the Los Angeles music scene, and in it I felt an intense sense of community. I deeply value that camaraderie and feeling of acceptance, and I seek out ways to provide it for other people. I created this magazine because I want there to be a place where people can feel welcomed and accepted. I am so grateful that because of this magazine I get to combine my passions for music, literature, and conversation. Even more importantly, I get to meet new people and be a part of this community.
